The Union Wrestling team capped a successful season by winning the 6A Sate Team Championship in convincing fashion. The Redskins took 11 wrestlers to the state tournament and all 11 contributed wins over the weekend. Union had 5 wrestlers in the finals on Saturday night with Josh Walker - 103 and Joey Sheridan - 171 winning titles. Cody Beisel - 125, Ronnie Balfour – 152, and Tyler Greenhaw - 160 all took second. Brian Crutcmer - 112 and Ray Calvert – 145 took home 4th place medals. Congratulations Wrestlers and Coaches on a job well done! |

Union Wrestling wins Regionals and qualifies 11 wrestlers for the State Tournament!!! The entire team contributed to the win at Regionals with all 14 wrestlers going into Saturday. Congratulations to all wrestlers and coaches. The State Qualifiers are: Josh Walker - 103, Brian Crutchmer - 112, Connor Baxter - 119, Cody Beisel - 125, Trae Treleaven - 130, Sam Wolfenberger - 135, Kyle Crutchmer - 140, Ray Calvert - 145, Ronnie Balfour - 152, Tyler Greenhaw - 160, Joey Sheridan - 171. Remember to wear RED at the State Tournament!!!!! Wrestling starts at 10:30am on Friday at the OKC Fairgrounds. |

Union Wins OCU Duals!!!! For the 3rd consecutive week, Union Wrestling proves that it’s the team to beat in 2009 with a 1st Place win at the OCU Duals. Many of the top teams in the state were present. Union had to win 9 consecutive duals to come out as the #1 team by beating power houses Catoosa, Claremore, Ponca City and Perry. |

Union Wins the Sapulpa Tournament!!! For the second week in a row, Union Wrestling comes out on top! Last week Geary, this week the Sapulpa Tournament with 10 placers! Union came in first place over #1 ranked Ponca City. Great job guys, keep up the good work!!!! |

UNION WINS GEARY!!!!! Our very own Union Wrestling WINS the Geary Tournament by a commanding lead with an impressive 11 placers and an Outstanding Wrestler! Wow, what a difference a year makes.
